Ingredients

Instructions

  1. First we need to toast the rolled oats and coconut. You can do this 2 different ways. [Option 1: Set oven to 180c/350f and evenly spread oats and coconut out on a tray, toast for 8mins, stirring every 3-4mins] OR [Option 2: Place oats and coconut on a clean skillet at a medium temperature and stir regularly, cook for 15mins or until coconuts are fragrant and change colour.]
  2. In a mixing bowl combine protein powder, toasted oats and coconut, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and honey.
  3. Stir well until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Take mixture out with your hands and create protein balls that are approximately 1" in diameter. Dip your hands in water between each one to ensure mixture doesn't get too messy and stuck to your fingers.
  5. The mix should make enough for 25 protein balls. Place them on a lined baking tray and pop them into the fridge for 45-60mins before serving.
  6. Keep stored in an airtight container in the fridge. They will keep for up to 5 days.
